Body of 71-year-old woman, who drowned in NegOr river, found

A 71-year-old woman died after she was swept away by the strong river current in Barangay Trinidad, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental on Tuesday afternoon.

Gaudiosa Lani drowned after she tried to cross the river.

According to PO2 Marlong Delantes, desk officer of Guihulngan City Police Station, Lani’s body was found in the riverbed.
