Bar in Mandaue ordered closed

Personnel from the Mandaue City Legal Office served at 4 p.m. today, a closure order to MO2 Resto bar.

The bar’s manager, Lito Atillo received the closure order, handed by Atty. James Sayson, the Assistant City Legal Office in Mandaue.

The closure order was issued on February 9, based on the recommendation made by Mandaue City Mayor Luigi Quisumbing.

The establishment was previously served with a show cause order from the city government last month after the establishment failed to secure a mayor’s permit for their special events on January 20, in relation to the Sinulog festivities.
