Newborn infant found on floating garbage

A newly born baby girl was found alive on top of a floating garbage under the houses located along the shore of Sitio Camansi, Barangay Pajo, Lapu Lapu City around 1:30 p.m., Thursday afternoon

A resident named Vilma Toring found the baby, which was later brought to Lapu-Lapu City Hospital

Pajo Barangay Captain Junard Chan went to the area and conducted an inquiry to determine who abandoned the baby.

Authorities are still investigating who left the baby in the said area.
