Fire hits Dumanjug town hall

A fire caused partial damage to Dumanjug Municipal Hall on Saturday morning.

FO1 Ralzon Dael of Dumanjug Fire Station told Cebu Daily News that the fire started at the cabinet inside the Municipal Assessor’s Office.

At past 9 a.m. today, the fire department received a call from a citizen to inform about the fire incident.

Nearly after an hour, the fire was declared under control.

Initial investigation showed that the overloading of the generator set might have caused the fire.

There was a power outage prior to the incident.
