7 sustained minor injuries after two fastcrafts hit

A maritime incident involving two fastcrafts of the same company caused seven passengers to sustain minor injuries on Saturday morning.

Terminal Operations Officer Rhea Oporto of Cebu Port Authority (CPA) told Cebu Daily New that Oceanjet 188 bound for Tagbilaran City, Bohol, miscalculated when it was about to dock in Pier 1.

Such miscalculation caused it to hit another fastcraft, Oceanjet 5, which was bound for Ormoc City, Leyte.

The injured passengers were immediately given medical assistance.
