A Mandaue traffic enforcer is now in hot water after he was caught possessing illegal drugs during a police checkpoint along Zuellig Ave, Mandaue Reclamation Area, Mandaue City on Saturday afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Ian Billiones, 25, a member of the Traffic Enforcement Agency (TEAM) of Mandaue City.
TEAM head Glenn Antigua said that Billiones, who worked at TEAM for about two years, is now facing dismissal from work.
Antigua also said that Billiones was recently suspended due to tardiness in work.
“Gi-recommend na ni nato sa Human Resource Office ang iyang dismissal kay mao man na ang policy diri.” (We already recommended his dismissal to the Human Resource Office because that is the policy here)
Billiones is now detained at Mandaue Police precinct.
