36 houses were razed in a fire that hit Sitio Banawa, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City on February 27, Tuesday afternoon.
The alarm was received at 12:47 p.m. and was declared under control at 1:18 p.m.
According to Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) chief Nagiel Bañacia, a total of 231 individuals were affected by the fire.
The fire started at the house of a certain Norberto Ermetanio.
Initial investigation revealed that a group of children was playing matches which caused the fire.
No one was hurt while damage is pegged at P150,000.
