MAO BA?

LOUELLA ALIX AND HER CEBUANO ADOBO

Netizens are paying close attention and are openly expressing their strong craving for the mouth-watering Filipino dish Adobo after they read an article entitled “The Cebuano Adobo” written by Louella Eslao-Alix, the latest addition to the Cebu Daily News family who is writing a bi-monthly (every other Thursday) column in the Life! section titled “Tastes of Cebu.”
The Cebuano Adobo is also called Adobong Pina-uga (dry Adobo). Served on a platter, the meat has a golden brown sheen and is redolent of the garlic-infused marinade, so wrote Ms Alix.
The article has been generating a lot of attention not just on the CDN website (674 shares so far) and also on the CDN Facebook page.

One netizen, Leoniper Barnes, enthused, “Looks so yummy and crunchy”

Another named Ire-Ann Sellabac commented, “Adobong binisaya… a comfort food in our home.”

While Ed Shepherd wrote, “I love adobo! Miss it very much and can’t wait to taste it again”
