Barangay Calamba Councilman Richard Buscaino visited Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña on Monday morning to give the mayor updates of the strafing incident wherein the councilman’s car was peppered with bullets on Sunday.
Buscaino said he believed that Calamba Barangay Captain Yvonne Feliciano is behind the incident and the threats he received through text.
Buscaino said Feliciano was mad after the council filed charges against her for allegedly forging the signature of councilors for the release of P20 million.
Sought for comments, Mayor Osmeña believes that a police officer was behind the strafing of Buscaino’s car, but refused to elaborate the identity of the police officer.
“I suspect that it is a police officer who is behind this but not Cebu City police, and will assure him that we will do what we can at our level,” the mayor said.
