Online excitement greeted Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña’s Facebook post which showed an architect’s rendition of the proposed Kawit Island development which consists of a mall, restaurants, convention center, hotels, one casino and a park.
A netizen named Jho Estrellanos said: “Nindot cya, at the same time makahatag siya ug daghang opportunity sa mga tawo para maka work (It looks good and at the same time it can provide opportunities for employment to people).”
Peter Johnson wrote: “Waw This is so amazing, I can’t wait for this ang maka sulod hehehe naa daw (to be realized. There is a) mall? Amazing.”
