ONLY two police officers of the Mabolo police precinct were involved in the drunken confrontation that occurred during a house warming at Barangay Tayud, Consolacion town last Thursday evening.
Insp. Clark Ariola, Mabolo police precinct chief, said he read the written explanations submitted by the four Mabolo police precinct officers who attended the house warming of PO2 Mark Cabado.
He said only PO3 Joel Vergara and Cabado figured in the drunken confrontation while PO1 Alfred Talaboc and PO1 Fernan Omolon tried to pacify the two.
“I am unsatisfied with their explanations. I ordered my men to interview the neighbors,” Ariola said.
Upon his action to investigate his personnel involved in the commotion after Senior Supt. Joel Doria directed Ariola to investigate it.
SPO3 Jeffrey Larrobis, chief investigator of the Mabolo police precinct, said a report on the incident had already been submitted to the Investigation and Detection Management Branch (IDMB) and the National Police Commission (Napolcom) for resolution.
