Netizens were dismayed over the plight of the Toledo City Hospital when it lost 120 of its 150 staff due to budget delays by the Toledo City Council.
McCoy Boiser said, “City naman ang toledo. Dapat ang city mo fund ani. If this is mismanagement then all city council might be subject to sanctions or suspensions. A city must have a hospital.”
A netizen, Susana Mendoza wrote, “Where are the taxes paid by mines to the Toledo govt … also Hyundai taxes? It should go to the people of Toledo!”
Another netizen, Ingred Ang said, “It needs some thorough investigation. They can’t just close it for no budget somebody must to find the money somewhere and this situation needs our presidents attention.”
