THE CEBU Institute of Technology University (CIT-U) keglers remain at the top after the third day of the Alberto’s Pizza Bowling Tournament 10th Anniversary Invitational hosted by Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) last Friday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
CIT-U now has a total score of 7,534 after garnering 822, 870 and 849 pinfalls in the three-game series. The team had 2,593 pinfalls after the first day last Feb. 16 and 2,400 on the second day on Feb. 23.
SPTJJ Savers, who accumulated 845, 811 and 857 pinfalls, are at second place with a total of 7,505 pinfalls.
Bowlers from Rich Catsup moved up two places to third with the total score of 7,392.
Jake Yap of E.O. Bucoy Consultants won the Highest Individual Single of the men’s division with 230 pinfalls. Gretchen Tormis, who is with CIT-U, got the Highest Individual Single in the women’s division with 206 pinfalls.
E.O. Bucoy Consultants acquired the Highest Team Single with 919 pinfalls in the second game of the day.
The final day of competition will be this Friday at the same venue.
