News about the erroneous awarding of the Sinulog Festival Costume to the festival queen of Daanbantayan. In this year’s Sinulog, the second blunder committed by organizers since last year, had netizens scratching their heads in disbelief.
Charlon Razon wrote, “Congrats Catbalogan” while Romel Cinco Ondong commented “Columbia zone hahahahaa”
Another netizen named Dean Siangco commented, “I don’t want to offend anyone since I know one of those in the organization but, who shall we blame? This is a total shame to the festival queen of Daan Bantayan. This might be a human error but when it comes to this kind of event where people gather to witness the show, we should be more vigilant to every detail that we publicly divulge. Apparently, this is creating another issue.”
