Marijuana plantation discovered by authorities in Toledo City

More than a million worth of marijuana plants were uprooted by the personnel of Toledo City Police in Sitio Himatogan, Barangay General Climaco on Friday past 2 p.m.

SPO3 Jemelong Cotmaya of the city police said that a concerned citizen reported about the marijuana plantation, which prompted his team to check the area.

Juanito Ocariza, the alleged cultivator, immediately escaped the area after noticing the police authorities.

A case wll be filed against Ocariza despite his escape.
