Erediano credits coach Remolino for her success

CEBUANA Moira Frances Erediano gave credit to her coach Roland Remolino for her latest achievement in the Kadalag-an Duathlon of the 20th Kadalag-an Festival in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.

The 13-year-old Keith DeFiebre cycling team member bagged the women’s open division crown in the race yesterday in one hour, 27 minutes, and 42 seconds.

Erediano, one of the rising triathletes in the country who was awarded the Best Female Junior Triathlete of the Year in the recent Swim Bike Run annual awards, said coach Remolino has a lot to do with her success in the sport.

“He is the best,” said Erediano of her coach, who is the father of the multi-titled Andrew Kim Remolino, the Best Male Junior Triathlete of the Year in the SBR Awards. “(He doesn’t give anybody) special treatment. Everybody must work very hard.He does not like to waste time. He is the rock of our team.”

Remolino has been Erediano’s coach for two years.

On her way to the title, Erediano beat top triathletes such as Philippine national team triathlete Jacqui Lamparero.

Erediano will be preparing for the Alaska Ironkids in Davao this March 24 and will represent the Organique triathlon team in the NTT ASTC Subic Bay International Triathlon 2018 in Subic this April 21 to 22.
