THE Dragon Boat Cebu Central (DBCC) will hold a seminar workshop for dragon boat race officials in separate venues on April 12 and 13.
On the first day, there will be a basic race official training under the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) rules and regulations at the La Fortuna Hotel in Borromeo Street, Cebu City.
The second day will be a practical exam at the City of Naga Boardwalk for participants and support race officials for the Cebu Dragon Boat Fiesta slated April 13 to 15 at the same venue.
Guest speaker will be Dick Lim, an IDBP member of competition and technical commission and an IDBF championship senior official.
DBCC secretariat Stephie Agbay said they are expecting 20 participants, which include team managers, coaches, team captains, and helms.
She added that participants may be named race officials in the next DBCC races.
Registration fee is pegged at P700 inclusive of lunch, certificate, and an official’s shirt. Interested participants may contact 0927-585-1377.
