Schedule for tryouts for Cesafi basketball teams
BASKETBALL players aspiring to play in Cebu’s prestigious inter-school basketball competition, the Cesafi, will get several chances to do so as member schools conduct tryouts for prospects for their respective teams in the coming season.
The University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers will be conducting their tryout for the college team on April 2, 6 a.m., while those looking to make it to the high school varsity can join the juniors tryout at 3 p.m. The venue will be at the USPF gym inside the school’s campus along Salinas Drive, Lahug.
The University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars, meanwhile, will be having their tryouts for the collegiate team on April 2 at 6 a.m. The tryout for the high school team follows at 8 a.m.
The University of the Visayas (UV) is also looking for talented players for their SBP and Passerelle teams. Their tryout is on April 9 at 7 a.m.
And finally, the Cesafi men’s basketball tournament runners-up, the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters, will be having their tryouts on April 11 and 12, at 8 a.m. at the Cebu Coliseum.
