THE start of the annual Yaw-Yan ArDigma Martial Arts Federation Summer Clinic will kick off simultaneously with the opening of Yaw-Yan ArDigma Martial Arts’ newest branch at the Southside Fitness Center today at the E-Zone Paseo along F. Cabahug St. in Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City.
The month-long summer clinic will now be held in two venues, one at the Yaw-Yan ArDigma Martial Arts Federation main headquarters on the fourth floor of Coast Pacific Downtown Center just across the UC-main campus along Sanciangko Street and the other at the new branch at the Southside Fitness Center.
Just like the previous years of the camp, Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu founder Master Benigno ‘Ekin’ Caniga Jr. said they will focus on the role of teaching Yaw-Yan as a way to discipline students, channel their energy to martial arts.
“We will teach them the proper way of throwing punches, kicks and making their bodies as a weapon to defend themselves,” said Master Ekin.
Aside from Yaw-Yan ArDigma system, the summer clinic also offers lessons in arnis, boxing fitness, Yaw-Yan self-defense, Muay Thai, and grappling.
