THE Ki-Aikido – Cebu SouthForce is staging its weekly aikido training programs at the South Agora Complex in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.
Its program, held during Sundays, includes a seven-week self protection program which focuses on the psychology of attack and defense, holds and escapes, fatal striking points, mastering the strikes, self defense on single or multiple armed and unarmed attackers, and legal weapons people may carry.
Registration is pegged at P50 for the first session, and P100 for the succeeding sessions.
For the beginner, which includes the white to yellow belters, they will have a 40 hour training on the aikido techniques and 24 hours for the Ki training. Registration fee is pegged at P200 per session.
Aikido is a Japanese martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba in the 20th century as it focuses on a system of throwing, joint-locking, striking, and pinning techniques.
