Cebu’s Cynthia Thomalla gets ready for Miss Eco International 2018

CEBU’s pride Cynthia Thomalla is set to represent the country at the Miss Eco International 2018 to be held in Cairo, Egypt on April 28.

“I will be representing the Philippines for @missecointernational 2018,” she said in an Instagram post.

She will be competing with more than 70 women across the globe.

Based on the pageant’s official website, Miss Eco International “brings together representatives of different cultures and traditions from all over the world.”

The cause of the pageant is to promote saving the planet and at the same time promoting tourism.

Thomalla became the country’s official representative of the country after winning Miss Eco Philippines 2017 during the Miss World Philippines 2017 competition where she represented
Cebu.

Before joining the national pageant, Thomalla was also crowned as Sinulog Festival Queen in 2016 and was the lead dancer of Tribu Himagulaw of Placer, Masbate.

Thomalla is also the last one among the Miss World Philippines 2017 winners who will compete in the international pageant stage.

“I can’t believe I am the last one to compete in our @msworldphil 2017 batch and in few more months we will crown our successors already,” she said in her post.

Sports reporter Laura Lehmann was hailed as Miss World Philippines 2017 title who finished top 40 in Miss World 2017 in Sanya, China.

Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez was crowned as Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 in Bolivia while Sophia Senoron won Miss Multinational 2017 in India.
