‘The industry’s finest women’ to work together in new ABS-CBN teleserye

SOME of the best actresses in showbiz will work together on an upcoming TV series on ABS-CBN.

Angel Locsin, Janice de Belen, Eula Valdez, Ryza Cenon, and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano will star in a new teleserye titled, “The
General’s Daughter.”

The announcement was made by Viva Artists Agency through its Instagram account the same day Cenon transferred to the Kapamilya Network.

“After signing with ABS-CBN, @iamryzacenon joins Kapamilya stars for a new project under @dreamscapeph,” Viva Artists Agency said.

A separate post was made by ABS-CBN’s Eric John Salut which revealed that a story conference was already held last Thursday.

The same day, Dreamscape head Deo Endrinal also posted a group photo of the lead stars.

“At home with the industry’s finest women. #comingsoon,” Endrinal said.

So far, no other details have been revealed yet about the new project.

This will be Cenon’s first major project with ABS-CBN aside from reports that she will appear in one of the episodes of the the network’s long running television series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” headlined by Coco Martin.

Her last teleserye was the top-rating daytime series, “Ika-6 Na Utos” on GMA Network. She played the role of main antagonist Georgia who made the life of Emma (Sunshine Dizon) and Rome (Gabby Concepcion) miserable.

“The General’s Daughter” also serves as a comeback TV project for Soriano. She was last seen on GMA Network’s 2014 drama, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” where she played the role of Millet Gonzales-Real. The series also starred Dingdong Dantes and Lovi Poe.

For Valdez, this will be her next project in Kapamilya Network after primetime series, “The Good Son” which ended yesterday headlined by Joshua Garcia. She played as Olivia, the wife of Victor (Albert Martinez).

“The General’s Daughter” is Locsin’s new television series after her stint in the 2017 primetime series, “La Luna Sangre” ended.

For De Belen, this will be her comeback project with ABS-CBN after the 2016 daytime soap, “Be My Lady” where she played the role of Marcela, mother of the lead character, Pinang portrayed by Erich Gonzales.
