News on the impounding f a GT Express van-for-hire and one colorum vehicle in Mandaue City last Wednesday after the drivers were caught illegally transferring passengers generated mixed reactions from netizens.
Joel Dwire commented, “I would first, make them transport the passengers for free to their destination. Then bring the van to impound. Why inconvenience the public for a franchise violator”
Mary Cecil Noquiao also wrote, “Cgeh na jud mi kasuway ug ila ming gi ingun ani.. (We always experience this [kind of modus operandi]).”
While Tu Ping Yan said, “Good job LTFRB. Daghan pa kaaung colorum.naa sad sa mall buntag sayo na dha.” (Good job LTFRB. There are a lot of colorum vans in a mall, they are usually visible every morning)
