Biyaya ng Pagbabago launched

Representatives from the national and local government initiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony during the launching of 'Biyaya ng Pagbabago' at the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus.

TO expedite the implementation of programs of different government agencies, the “Biyaya ng Pagbabago” program was launched in Cebu yesterday.

Doris Mongaya, Visayas lead convenor of Kilusang Pagbabago (KP), said that “Biyaya ng Pagbabago” is a government program initiated by the Office of Participatory Governance (OPG) of Cabinet Secretary Jun Evasco.

“We know daghan kaayong mga taw ang ganahan makahibaw kung unsa gyud ning poverty alleviation programs sa nagka lain-laing agencies mao nang naay breakout sessions. Naa silay booths where people can inquire and also ug naa silay concerns, they can go to these booths,” said Mongaya
(We know a lot of people want to know about the poverty alleviation programs of the different government agencies that is why we have break out sessions. There are booths they can visit for their specific concerns.)

“Tinguha ani makunhod ang poverty incidence sa nasud. Sa 21 percent to 14 percent. Mahaw-as sa kalisod ang atong target nga six million ka mga kabos,” OPG Undersecretary Joselito “Penpen” Libres said.
