The Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force said human trafficking is not rampant in Central Visayas.
Senior Inspector Maria Theresa Macatangay said although the problem exists, it remains under control.
Her office has also been active in launching operations against human trafficking.
On Saturday, operatives of the Anti-Cyber Crime Group (ACG) arrested a Chinese woman and her Filipino employee in a raid at Calderon Compound on Duterte St., Banawa, Cebu City.
The operatives also rescued the call center agents who were hired to chat online with foreign clients using profile photos of women.
Suspect Mei Yee (Ma Yee) denied she owned and managed the call center.
Macatangay said they are appealing to the public to cooperate with them in curbing the problem in human trafficking.
Last year, her team raided several cybercrime dens in Metro Cebu and those responsible for illegal operations were charged and jailed.
She said most cybercrimes operation are done inside private residences.
