Cebu City Government distributed cash grants to senior citizens

Around 57, 000 senior citizens from 80 barangays in Cebu City claimed their financial assistance today (April 28).

Each senior citizen received P1,000 as financial assistance.

Kevin Chua, city administrative aide, said this is the third tranche of the financial assistance for this year.

The cash aid program also covers 3,000 bedridden senior citizens in the city.

Families of the deceased senior citizens were also given a burial assistance amounting to P5,000. /PIT Intern Glazielle Viter
