Mandaue City, Medellin and Catmon continued their streak through the quarterfinal round of the Governor’s Cup Inter-Cities and Municipalities Volleyball Tournament yesterday at the Liloan Municipal Gym.
This as the three teams remained unbeaten in this tournament after scoring separate wins in their first games in the quarters.
Catmon defeated Tabogon, 25-10, 25-23, Medellin struggled early but still emerged victorious over Danao, 15-25, 25-21, 25-20, while Mandaue escaped Liloan 20-25, 25-19, 25-19.
Mandaue and Catmon were 6-0 (win-loss) in the elimination round while Medellin was 5-0.
