Cebu grad tops Civil Engineering board exam

A graduate from the Cebu Institute of Technology – University made it to the top 10 of the 2018 Civil Engineering (CE) Board Examination whose result was released today, May 11.

Roshene Velasquez landed ranked 8th with a final rating of 91.30%.

Other topnotchers are Rez Rodney Sarile Fernandez of Western Mindanao State University – Zamboanga City (1st, 93.55%); Garret Patrick Satsatin Baluyot of Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila (2nd, 93.25%); John Victor Juvida Lau of Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila (3rd, 93.05%); Oonre Zak Khalil Orbiso Advincula-go of Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila (4th, 93.00%); Royell Bunoan Petterson of Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila and Dionisio Gilot Sulapas Jr. of Surigao State College of Technology (5th, 92.55); Kil Hilbert Dorado Antatico of Capiz State University (CIT) (PSPC) – Main Campus (6th, 92.20%); Stephen Albina Bolaños of Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City (7th, 91.60%); Nicko Angelo Eustacio Garchico of Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila and Jude Lopez Rosales of Malayan Colleges Laguna (8th, 91.50%); John Michael Vince Rodriguez Martin of FEU-Institute of Technology (For. FEU-EAST ASIA COLLEGE) (9th, 91.30%); and Jason Vincent Jumawan Ang of University of Southerneastern Philippines – Davao City (10th, 91.25%)

Out of the 7,599 who took the examinations, only 2,738 made it.

The examination was held from May 6-7 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
