Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña is not yet done on criticizing council members from the opposition Barug Team Rama party.
Opposition councilors junked the resolution that would have authorized the mayor into signing a joint venture agreement with the Gokongwei-led Universal Hotels and Resorts Inc. in developing the Kawit Island Property.
On a Facebook post today, Osmeña slammed Councilor Renato “Junjun” Osmeña Jr. on voting against the P18-billion JVA on Friday.
Junjun is also the chairperson of the council’s ad-hoc committee, which is formed to scrutinize the deal.
“Junjun is a snake and a traitor to the Cebuanos. Along with Sonny, he is proof that the name “Osmeña” is not a guarantee of good service,” Osmeña stated on his caption.
Cebu Daily News (CDN) tried to call Councilor Osmeña for his comments but he declined.
