The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board regional office (LTFRB-7) said it is public utility vehicles (PUVs) used to fetch flying voters during the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections on Monday.

“I want to warn PUV operators not to use their units in transporting flying voters. Otherwise, we will slap them with appropriate penalties, ranging from fines to suspensions and cancellations of their franchises,” LTFRB regional director Ahmed Cuizon said.

Cuizon said they will coordinate with other law enforcement agencies to monitor and apprehend jeepney drivers and operators who transport passengers on non-designated routes.

“LTFRB – 7 will be fielding a team of enforcers to monitor election precincts tomorrow,” he said.
