A Taiwanese national was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Guisi, Barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City at past 6 p.m. today.
Police authorities arrested Gary Yu, 46, for possession and selling of illegal drugs, said Superintendent Mark Gifter Sucalit, City Intelligence Branch (CIB) chief of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO).
Sucalit said that Yu was included in the police watch list after receiving reports about his illegal drug trade.
Seized from him were packs of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing 6.04 grams with an estimated value of P75,520.
Sucalit added that the suspect,who has been residing in the area, was also a surrenderee last year at the height of LCPO’s drive against illegal drugs.
