The weeklong Philippine National Games in Cebu City was generally peaceful.
This was the assessment of the Cebu City Police Office as the games are set to end today.
“Okay naman yung situation and in place yung mga security natin. Minomonitor talaga natin yung lahat ng activities,” said Doria.
Senior Supt. Joel Doria said no untoward incidents happened during the duration of the event, where about 500 police personnel were deployed at the different sporting venues to keep security measures in place.
