A house was burned down in a fire that Barangay Kabaungahan, Danao City past 12 noon on Saturday (May 26).
The alarm was received at 12:24 p.m. by the Danao City fire department.
Upon the arrival of the responders, the house of Celso Camacho was already burned down.
Based on initial investigation, Camacho reportedly burned down his house using gasoline.
Supt. Jaime Quiocho, of Danao Police Station, said Camacho was holding an unlicensed M14 rifle when the firefighters arrive at the area. He was arrested.
Camacho is now detained at the Danao Police precinct and will be also be referred to a psychiatrist for assessment.
