WHAT if you had the power to live a love story that you wrote yourself?
This is what Viva Films’ upcoming movie, “The Write Moment” is all about.
Starring Jerald Napoles and Valeen Montenegro, the film will have its commercial run in Philippine cinemas starting June 27.
It was first shown in October last year during QCinema, the official film festival of Quezon City.
The movie’s official trailer was uploaded by Viva Films’ YouTube channel last Thursday.
“Let’s fall in love paulit-ulit kahit masakit,” the trailer’s description reads.
In the film, Napoles plays Dave, a writer while Montenegro portrays his ex, Joyce.
“Dave, okay ba talaga tayo?” Joyce asks Dave.
“Oo naman,” Dave answers.
Joyce then tells Dave that she is breaking up with him and Dave asks her why.
“Meron bang third party? Babae na ba hanap mo uli? Dahil ba nabo-bore ka sa ‘kin? Pwede pa kong mag-gym. Kung kulang sa iyo ang itsura ko ganito na talaga ‘yun eh,” Dave rattles on.
“It’s not you, it’s me,” Joyce flatly tells him.
Dave, however, does not easily give up on Joyce and wants her to come back to him.
One day, he decides to write “their” love story and to his surprise, he is now living every scene he has written.
Written and directed by Dominic D. Lim, “The Write Moment” is produced by VIVA Films and Idea First Company.
The film also stars Bob Jbeili, Nor Domingo, Cherry Malvar, and Dennis Padilla.
