The representative of the first district of Cebu Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. confirmed that he will run for mayor in Talisay City in the 2019 elections.
He said he will run under the political party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
Incumbent Talisay City Vice Mayor Allan Bucao will be his running mate on the slated Mayoral elections, Gullas confirmed to Cebu Daily News.
Meanwhile, his grandfather, Talisay City Mayor Eddie Gullas, will also be running as congressman for the first district of Cebu.
The city’s former mayor Johnny Delos Reyes will challenge Gullas in the upcoming elections.
