100 pupils get school supplies from Veco workers

Veco Kaibigan batches 17 and 18 banded together to distribute school supplies worth more than P20,000 to 100 deserving incoming Grade 1 pupils of the  San Nicolas Elementary School last May 19.

The batch 17 led by Ronimay Alvarado and batch 18 headed by Kay Ingan distributed envelopes containing school supplies to each of the beneficiary pupils.

In her welcome speech, Ingan said she was thankful for the opportunity given by the school to extend help to their pupils.

She also thanked the Veco Human Resources department represented by HR Supervisor Connie Sosas, who funded the activity.

Aside from the school supplies, the incoming Grade 1 pupils were also treated to fun activities and a sumptuous meal.

Assistant School Principal Lunessa Pogoy thanked the Veco employees (kaibigans) for sharing their time and effort to distribute the school supplies.

The Kaibigan outreach activity was in partnership with the Veco HR department.
