Demotion of houses in Ibo to be completed within the week

The clearing operation in Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City is expected to be finished this week.

Renato Parba, who leads the demolition team from the Material Recovery Facility (MRF), said that the clearing operations in Barangay Ibo had a delay due to the high tides.

Meanwhile, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza said that the demolition team will move to Barangay Pusok to continue their clearing operation.

Radaza added that it will take few months to complete the clearing operation in the six coastal barangays on Mactan Island.
