Kris Aquino wants to play Alden Richards’ mother in a film

KRIS Aquino has explained why she wants to work with actor Alden Richards.

Two days ago, an Instagram user named @lisa_1126 commented on Aquino’s IG and thanked her for appreciating the good looks of the 26-year-old actor.

“@lisa_1126 hindi lang yun – gusto ko talaga yung aura niya, his love for family, and the fact that he waited and worked so hard to have what he has now,” Aquino reiterated.

She also tagged director Adolfo Alix Jr. —who has directed Richards in several TV projects—in her comment and said that the award-winning director has long known that she wants to do
a movie with Richards and play his mother.

She even have a storyline in mind.

“A movie of how a single mom who devoted her life to raising her child will cope when her son is now a working adult and asserting his independence. And the son I can picture is @aldenrichards02 #bucketlist,” Aquino explained.

Adolfo reacted to Aquino’s comment and said that hopefully they can make the project happen.

The Queen of All Media replied: “@aalixjr I can super PRAY.”

ALDEN OVER JOSHUA

Aquino is busy promoting her comeback movie with Star Cinema titled,

“I Love You, Hater.” Also starring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto and directed by Giselle Andres, the romantic comedy will be shown in Philippine cinemas starting July 11.

A video clip shared by Random Republika on YouTube during the movie’s press conference shows Aquino being asked if she would fall in love with Garcia if she were Barretto’s age.

“Joshua, don’t hate me ha. Kung ka-age lang ako ni Julia. Sorry ABS-CBN. Don’t hate me for this answer, si Alden ang pipiliin ko,” Aquino said.

She added: “Ang kay Julia ay kay Julia. Si Alden, libre.”

Aquino later said physically, she finds Richards cute and that she has a weakness for dimples.

She said she was also impressed by Richards’ performance as writer-activist Boni Ilagan in last year’s Martial Law special ”Alaala” produced by GMA Network. Directed by Alix Jr., the docu-drama won the Silver Medal award at the 2018 New York Festivals.

Richards is currently working on an upcoming TV series titled, “Victor Magtanggol.”
