Another man dies after being hit by lightning in Toledo

Another man died after he was struck by lightning in Barangay Casoy, Toledo City on Thursday afternoon, June 21.

The victim was identified as Fiel Abenoja Gelig from Barangay Cogon-Pardo, Cebu City.

PO3 Roxan Enerio of Toledo police station said Gelig was staying under a tree when the incident happened.

Enerio added Gelig was brought to the Toledo District Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physicians.

The victim suffered severe burns all over his body.

Last Tuesday (June 19), a 42-year-old man also died after he was struck by lightning inside his house in Argao town, Cebu. / with Nestle Semilla
