The 2002 Rock Uniform Solutions-B bagged a huge fish as they upset the 2011 Elevens, 64-53, in the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Summer League 2018 last weekend at the USC North Campus gym.
The trio of James Tagalog, Byol Tan and Andrei Ynclino all waxed hot from the field as they combined to score all but one point of the team’s total output. Tagalog, Tan and Ynclino each had 21 markers to push 2002 RUS-B to its fifth win in nine games.
In another match, Edmar Galado continued his tournament-long brilliance as he piled up 26 points, 12 rebounds, 14 assists, four steals and two blocks to carry the 2015 Samurais to an 84-77 win over the 2003 Stallions and finish the elims with an 8-1 card.
Mike Baron also had 16 to lift the 1987 Bros to their second win of the tournament after beating the 1980 Chargers, 67-57.
