THE KEITH DeFiebre Cycling Team continued to show their prowess, this time through the Ethos Goes To The Tops Hill-Climb Cycling Challenge Finals last Saturday.
The racing event, hosted by the new Ethos Cafe, started off from the JY Square in Lahug, Cebu City, through the hills of Busay with Tops being the finish line.
The event featured three qualifying rounds for the last three weeks, deliberating the top five contenders of each round to compete for finals last Saturday. The racers’ head count started with over a hundred coming from the different parts of the Cebu region.
The event consisted of two categories: Men’s Open and Women’s Open.
Besting the Men’s Open category is Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team’s Manuel Pedroza.
Alvin dela Torre of Volvo Multisport placed second while teammate Melvin Codoy finished third.
Moira Frances Erediano, still from Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team, topped the Women’s Open category. Nicole Marie Del Rosario of TLTG-Go for Gold placed second and third place went to Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team’s Lucille Mercado Ruiz.
The first placers bagged a cash prize of P3,000.
