THE LYCANS snagged their third win in a row after they edged the Myrmidons, 64-61, in the Duterte Basketball League Cebu last Sunday at the Capitol Parish Gym along Escario Street.
Wily guard Russell Moneva led the way for the Lycans with 19 points to help them get the win and deal the Myrmidons their first loss of the competition.
Paragsa also remained unbeaten after they squeaked past Queensland, 64-61, for their third win in as many matches. Junrey Hoybia paced the winners with 16 markers.
In other matches, the Philippine National Police won their first game of the tournament after beating the E-Bros, 79-56, Primary got past Ford, 65-61, Nielrosemark Travel downed Mitsubishi, 69-41, and Hyundai bested Easternstar, 62-56.
