IS UNIQUE Salonga about to start his career as a solo artist?

Speculations rose after a photo of the former lead vocalist of Filipino rock band IV of Spades at the Viva’s office last Tuesday was shared by Viva Entertainment on Instagram and Facebook.

“Mayroong UNIQUE na bisita sa VIVA! #OCMusic #UniqueAtVIVA,” the caption read.

In the photo, Salonga was joined by his mother Llewelyn Torralba, Viva’s top boss Vic del Rosario, Kean Cipriano, and actress Chynna Ortaleza.

Torralba in a Facebook post shared photos during their meeting with del Rosario.

“Meeting with Viva Big boss, Vic del Rosario. Something big is coming…soon! Excited na ang inang nang brainwash! Salamat sa lahat ng nagtitiwala,” Torralba said.

Cipriano, the ex-manager of IV of Spades, posted a similar black and white group photo on his Instagram account.

“O/C Records #OCRecords #UNIQUE,” he captioned the photo.

O/C Records appears to be a new label under the Viva Entertainment umbrella.

The photo was also posted on Ortaleza’s Instagram account with the same caption.

Salonga was part of the Filipino rock band IV of Spades popular with their songs like “Mundo” and “Ilaw sa Daan.”

The group was recently recognized as New Artist of the Year and Bandarito Performance during the MYX Music Awards last May.

Their fans were surprised last May after Salonga left the group.

Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, and Badjao de Castro still remain in the group.
