Larsian to be closed for renovation Monday

Cebu City’s famed Larsian barbecue stalls will be closed for renovation, starting on Monday July 2.

Larsian Administrator Joey Herrera said the P1.8 million renovation will focus on resolving sanitation concerns and drainage system in the area. Located at Don Mariano Cui Street im Cebu City, Larsian is a famous barbeque strip in Cebu.

With the closure, Herrera said stall owners will be temporarily relocated to a province-owned lot at B. Rodriguez Street, or a few meters away from its original site.

He said food handlers and other staff will be required to undergo tranings by Cebu City Health Department to ensure sanitation at Larsian.

Trainings include customer service, food handling and food sanitation.
