THE METROPC Technologies, Inc. donated school bags and slippers to students of Cajel Elementary School and Bili Elementary School in Borbon town, northern Cebu.
The company, which is based in Mandaue City, turned over a total of 550 school bags and slippers to Cajel Elementary School and Bili Elementary School, respectively.
Ma. Vilma Hatsuse, Executive Vice President of METROPC Technologies, personally gave away the school bags and slippers to the students.
Hatsuse hoped that the small contributions would help the students of Cajel Elementary School and Bili Elementary School excel in their studies.
For his part, Manuel L. Dy, Jr. the company president said part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program is to reach out to elementary schools in far-flung barangays through their “Adopt-a-School” program.
Aside from the school bags and slippers, the company also donated a flat screen TV to Cajel Elementary School that was received by teacher-in-charge Susan Arong.
Hatsuse, meanwhile, promised to assist the teachers of Doña Milagros Osmeña Elementary School, which is also located in Borbon, for the repair of stage and concreting of the school premises.
