Cebuanos to expect localized thunderstorms during the weekend

Those who plan outdoor viewing of the Pacquiao-Mattysse fight are told to anticipate a sunny weather with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorm during the weekend.

Weather Specialist Jomar Eclarino said the Low Pressure Area (LPA) that is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) during the weekend will not have any adverse effects on Cebu and the rest of the Central Visayas.

The LPA is expected to affect the eastern section of Luzon, and enhance the southwest monsoon or habagat in Western Visayas. (Jessa)
