The owners of the KTV bar that was closed down by the Cebu City government last Dec. 20 for indecency has already sold the property due to the losses they incurred.
Inocencio dela Cerna, legal counsel of Las Vegas KTV bar in the North Reclamation Area said the owners failed to recover their losses after the Cebu City Anti-Indecency Board (CCAIB)
ordered the bar padlocked for allowing naked female dancers to perform on stage.
He said the new owners decided to rename the bar as San Francisco Resto Bar.
“San Francisco is a resto bar and entertainment hall. That is its nature,” dela Cerna told reporters.
City Administrator and CCAIB chairperson Lucelle Mercado said lawyers Winston Pagador and Hazel Bargamento appeared during the board meeting held last Friday to seek their
endorsement to allow the opening of San Francisco Resto Bar.
City regulations
Mercado said the two lawyers didn’t disclose details on who now owns the bar and restaurant.
She said the board advised the two lawyers to make sure that their client complies with all city regulations.
Mercado said they want the place to be well lighted and remove the cubicles at the KTV bar.
