THE PAIR of Aljun Penute and Erik Mendiola led the list of winners in the Baddicts Stars 5th Invitational Badminton Tournament held last July 14 at the Racquet Zone Badminton Center at the Montebello Villa Hotel Compound in Barangay Apas, Cebu City.
Penute and Mendiola escaped the pair of Fritz Michael Sagaad and Josephus Patalinghug, 31-28, in a thrilling championship match to bag the Level E+ title.
Winners in the other categories were: PJ Perez and Isoh Alfaro (E-), Marco Antonio Aranas and Jessie Miñoza (F+), Mark Jerald Gagua and Junil Balanay (F-), Karina Tecson and Zinah Marichelle Bejasa (G+), Kenny John Cortes and Julie Campos (G), and Alliyah Nina Kaye Limosnero and Kristel Ann Bisnar (G-).
Tournament Director for the tournament was Nove Trapa.
