Obon to sit as Lapu-Lapu City police director

Lapu-Lapu City will have a new police director starting on Tuesday (July 24).

Senior Supt. Rommel Cabagnot, outgoing city police director, will be replaced by Senior Supt. Lemuel Obon.

Chief Supt. Debold Sinas, Police Regional Office director in Central Visayas (PRO-7), said that they already received an order to replace Cabagnot.

Cabagnot served as city police director for almost two years.

“We will have a formal turn over ceremony tomorrow,” Sinas told reporters in a press conference on Monday morning (July 23).

Cabagnot will be assigned to PRO-7 while waiting for his new assignment from the national police headquarters.
