News about the arrest of a police officer who allegedly tried to rob a person in Barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City yesterday drew fire from netizens.
Desidido Muhabal wrote, “Asa nalang ta musalig ani? sa mga tanod nalang kay mga pulis ron sila na ang nag-una sa pagpanulis, hired gunman, kidnap for ransom. murag ika 5 na ning polis nga nabisto rong semanaha. tsk!”
Bert Patanao said, “Take note, he was arrested by the PNP. Kudos to the PNP, do not focus on the scalawag who will soon be dismissed and imprisoned.”
While Charity Blossom Olaer Borlasa-Bucal commented, “Anong nangyayari sa ating policemen? We expect them to protect us, bakit naging robbers and kidnappers?”
